The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is a new knife, based on the design of the Ti-Rock, a successful custom framelock knife that Extrema Ratio produced for a renowned Italian distributor. The Extrema Ratio Frame Rock is characterized by the titanium handle, which offers great strength and yet is very lightweight. The integrity and durability of the framelock are guaranteed against wear by a heat-treated steel insert that can be easily replaced. Unlike its drop-point predecessor, the Frame Rock has a spear-point blade, with 3 inches (75 mm) in length, 0.23 inches (6.0 mm) in thickness, with a groove for increased lightness. The blade is made of Bohler N690 steel, heat-treated to 58 HRC.

It can be obtained in black with DLC treatment or stone washed finish. To make the opening even smoother and effortless, the blade pivots on ball bearings. This mechanism allows the user to adjust the force required to release the blade from the closed position thanks to a screw. The shape of the reversible clip allows for concealed carry in the pocket, making the knife not visible from the outside. The large and well-proportioned handle, along with the robust blade, allows for tackling heavy tasks. The Frame Rock weighs only 9.6 oz (270 g), making it quite lightweight for such a robust knife. It incorporates a mechanism that allows the user to adjust the force required to release the blade from the closed position, thanks to a screw. A counter-screw secures the adjustment screw in place after it has been adjusted to the desired position. The reversible clip with relief holes is designed to allow for deep pocket carry, with as little of the knife visible from the outside as possible.

Scalloped grooves on the handle facilitate one-handed opening through the classic ambidextrous pin on the blade and ease grip transitions. The overall length of the knife, 7.1 inches (181 mm), places it in the range of medium-sized knives, and the solid and large handle, along with the robust and well-proportioned blade, allow for tackling heavy tasks without fear of failure. However, the Frame Rock weighs only 9.6 oz (270 g), making it quite lightweight for such a robust knife. It comes with a special ABS case.
