Product Description

The smallest member of Spyderco’s popular value knife series, the Ambitious is an ultra-compact cutting tool that cuts with the authority of a large knife. In its lightweight configuration, it swaps the original’s G-10 scales for injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern. Taking this evolution a step further, the Ambitious Lightweight Black Blade encases the fully flat 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade in a non-reflective black oxide coating. Consistent with this theme, the handle’s full skeletonized stainless steel liners, four-position pocket clip, and other components also feature stealthy black coatings.
