It features a lower guard branch to protect the hand from accidental cuts, an upper protrusion to enhance grip, a concavity along the entire length of the blade, and a generously thick blade (6.30 mm). All these details make the <strong>Contact t<\/strong>he older brother of the now-famous <strong>Requiem,<\/strong> revisited in proportions and some technical characteristics. The first of a new line of multipurpose <strong>knives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The blade is made of <strong>B\u00f6hler N690<\/strong> steel with a hardness of 58 HRC and a chemical coating for the black version. All other colors in production have a blade with a <strong>Stone Washed<\/strong> finish. The handle is still made of <strong>forprene.<\/strong> It is no longer assembled by side screws, but rather by a truncated cone-shaped stainless steel pin screwed into the bottom and fitting into a special seat, which makes it solid. This way, the <strong>knife<\/strong> is well balanced. The sheath is minimalist; most of the fabric has been cut away; it features a 2nd level retention system, reminiscent of the style of the model that inspired it. The main shell is injection molded in shockproof nylon.<\/p>\n<p>The secondary retention system is reversible for ambidextrous users. The blade is guided in the sheath thanks to its conical shape, which lends itself well to quick blade insertion and extraction. To extract the blade, a pressure on the trigger will suffice, thus releasing the safety device that holds it firmly in the sheath. In the horizontal slots of the sheath, a system is added that secures the blade to prevent rattling noises when stored.<\/p>\n<p>The back side of the nylon sheath is <strong>M.O.L.L.E<\/strong>. compatible.
