Product Description

Until the early 1900s, people commonly carried utility pocket knives. However, due to widespread “misuse,” laws were passed requiring all such knives to be trimmed at the tip of the blade in order to reduce their dangerousness as weapons. Some individuals then thought they would have the greatest efficacy with the sharp edge of a traditional straight blade and began carrying razors. Thus, the straight razor was for a time considered a formidable weapon for self-defense. Such “misuse” of the common straight razor inspired our T-RAZOR design.
